It is the desire of the Goddard Memorial Association to promote Goddard's pioneering contributions to what is now known as the Space Age. Although many were and are involved in the development of space exploration, it was Dr. Goddard's inventions that were successfully adopted that made rocket flight and space travel possible. Robert H. Goddard led the world into the space age. Because the early development of the modern rocket began by Worcester's native son occurred in Worcester, the Association also seeks recognition for Worcester, MA, the "Birthplace of the Space Age."

If you share our desire to bring honor and recognition to Worcester's most notable native son, join us! Membership $10.00, per year We publish two newsletters a year.

The Goddard Memorial Association is sponsoring a Goddard Scholarship for a deserving student at South High School (the school from which Goddard graduated) to study science at a certified college. Donations are gratefully accepted! We are a non profit organization. Your donations are tax deductible.
